The History of Larson Heights Elementary

Larson Heights Elementary has been part of the Moses Lake community since 1956! Our school was built during a time when Moses Lake was growing and more families were moving to the area.

Over the years, thousands of students have walked through our doors to learn, make friends, and create memories. Teachers and staff have worked hard to help students grow, succeed, and feel cared for. Larson Heights has even been recognized as a National Title I Distinguished School for its work to help students learn and succeed.

Today, Larson Heights continues to be a place where students learn new things, build friendships, and discover their strengths. Every student, teacher, staff member, and family is part of our school's story.

Our history is built on learning, friendship, and community. Together, we will continue to learn, grow, and SOAR! 🦅

A New Chapter Is Coming!

Moses Lake is planning an exciting new chapter with Elementary 12, a new school that will bring together students and staff from Larson Heights and North Elementary. The new school is scheduled to open in Fall 2029. This will be an opportunity to bring two school communities together to create new traditions, build friendships, and make wonderful memories.

As we look toward the future, we can be proud of Larson Heights' history and the many people who have made it special. Our story will continue as we learn, grow, and SOAR together! 🦅
